Baja Designs Return Policy

Here at Baja Designs, customer satisfaction is at our company’s core. Baja Designs gives you 30 days to determine whether you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you have concerns or questions or need assistance with a product, please get in touch with us before returning it. We have found that when a product is not working as expected, a few adjustments or corrections can often set things right.

For all returns, whether warranty-related or otherwise, a Return Authorization Number must be obtained from our Returns Department and included with the returned shipment. Returns received without an RMA Number will not be processed.

Initiating a Return: If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact the Returns Department by calling (760) 560-2252 or emailing Return@bajadesigns.com to obtain an RMA number before sending in your item(s).

Exchanging a Product: Baja Designs can handle all product exchange requests directly, regardless of where the item was purchased, with proof of purchase. We are happy to exchange unused items within 90 days from the invoice date.

Returning a Product: If Baja Designs is deemed responsible for any error, a prepaid return label will be provided; otherwise, you are responsible for all shipping charges. Baja Designs is not responsible for missing, lost, or damaged items during transit. Carefully package and ship items to:

Inspection: Processing times can take anywhere between 2-3 business days. Items received without an RMA number will not be processed. A 15% re-stocking fee will be applied for the following reasons:

  • It has been past 30 days since the order was delivered.
  • Signs of installation/mounting marks.
  • Missing components from the kit (Kit(s) must be returned complete).
  • Damages from poor packaging during transit to Baja Designs.

Where no satisfaction guarantee or warranty applies, you may still return items for an exchange or store credit within 90 days of the invoice date. Store credit will be applied to a new sales order placed at that time. Products must be in brand-new (unused) condition. All returns in the past 30 days will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

Refunds: All refunds will be applied to the original payment method used. They are generally issued within 7-10 business days of Baja Designs receiving all returned goods. Your bank may require additional processing time to reflect the refund in your account. If financed, please get in touch with Affirm, Afterpay, or PayPal for their return process and any fees associated with the loan.
